On their way to college in 2018, founders Antonio Detering and Eric Schifferings from Duisburg agreed: The bike bag-backpack combinations available on the market were impractical and overpriced. In 2020, Valkental ’s first multifunctional bag hit the market and took it by storm. Customers appreciate the product’s unique benefits and provide direct feedback for further developments and new products. Since then, the team has been in constant communication with its customers, developing innovative solutions to today’s challenges. Today, Valkental already has over 500,000 customers and a network of nearly 400 specialty retailers.
